About the Event
Are you looking for outdoor family activities this winter? Visit the Oregon Maple Project at Camp Colton to participate in a Family Day focused on Bigleaf Maple sugaring. Learn how to tap trees, collect sap, and understand the process of making it into Bigleaf Maple syrup. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for children and family members of all ages. We will spend 2 hours outdoors, touring and working on the maple farm, and, of course, tasting Bigleaf Maple syrup! If you'd like to extend your experience, consider spending the night at Camp Colton. Reserve lodging here. Tickets for our Family Days are $35 per person. At the event, we will provide syrup for tasting and warm drinks. Please bring your own water and snacks.
